People worldwide make every effort possible in hopes of a better tomorrow. This has been a never-ending race for us since the creation of this world. Some of us got lucky; some of us had to walk a bumpy road to make it all worth it, while others remained helpless and unseen, unable to take a step forward. And just so these individuals don’t remain unnoticed anymore, JCI Dhaka West, in collaboration with IGNITE Foundation, came up with this fantastic idea of reaching out to the underprivileged through the supply of sustainable goods to help them build a future for themselves. I was fortunate to be chosen as the lead for such a spectacular project, and today it makes me proud to witness that I could serve the ones in need. I am delighted to share that with the help of the zakat funded by all generous souls, we have successfully empowered ten families around three divisions, Barishal, Chattogram, and Dhaka, with sustainable goods of their choice. Now they are; happily self-employed, working towards a prosperous future. We aspire to keep assisting ordinary people to put a smile on their faces as they make their paths to a better lot.
